Mama Drama Debate: Breastfeeding

In light of the recent controvery surrounding supermodel Giselle Bundchen's expressed desire to enact a law requiring mothers to breastfeed their children, let's hear what you have to say.

Rules:

  1. No condescending or inappropriate comments towards another member. Any and all will be removed immediately.

  2. While you have the right to your own opinions, so do others. Be respectful in all aspects.

  3. Have fun!

  1. Some moms are on medication and can't. Some babies just don't want to. If there is a will and a way I think you should. I did for as long as I can for both of mine but I wouldn't never pressure anyone into it. New follower from Facebook Like you back. You can follow my blog at http://bunchesofbargains.blogspot.com

  3. I def wouldn't make it a law! I 100% think that Breastmilk is what's best for baby but some women cannot for medical reasons or other reasons. And sometimes the baby can't! Two examples: I have a friend who's milk never came in...at all..ever...so she couldn't breastfeed. Also my little sister had a cleft pallet and was unable to latch and suck..so she couldn't breastfeed either.

So I definately think it couldn't be a law even though it is the best choice for baby and mother.
