Silipads: Review and Giveaway

I have been given the honor of reviewing a product that I believe is simply genius! From Silikids, I would like to present to you:

Silipads

"It began in 2006 as a labor of love for two friends and mothers. With growing concerns about toxic materials in children’s products, Silikids was born; a children’s accessory company dedicated to making safe, clean and hygienic products out of SILICONE."-Silikids.com

When your little one begins to crawl, it's all you can do to keep him or her safe from the mysterious things that are now on their level. Silikids, a company who creates "Silicone musthaves for kids," developed these awesome kneepads to keep crawlers and toddlers knees safe from harm!

These super soft cotton kneepads are equipped with a flexible silicone pad which serves as a wonderful protectant and great grip for slippery flooring. Unlike other kneepads on the market, Silipads are not bulky and allow your muchkin full range of motion and the freedom to take them anywhere.

We received a pair of Silipads as a gift when our daughter started crawling. She wore them quite often, and they did a fabulous job keeping her little knees safe! They were even more awesome when she started learning to walk. Every stumble would leave her falling and bumping her knees. Silipads added an extra layer of protection which allowed her to get right back up and keep going.

I love the fact that Silipads have elastic around both ends to keep them securely in place. They stretch to accommodate most babies while maintaining their soft cotton texture. In addition, they are machine washable which makes them very convenient to clean and use over and over again!

According to Silikids,

"For crawlers to toddlers, these stylin' baby kneepads - made from cotton with
silicone pad protection - are designed to keep your little one's knees
feeling and looking good. Designed for comfort and ease, they slide right
over baby's knees to protect and keep them scrape-free from hard and
irritable surfaces as they crawl and explore their surroundings. Machine
washable, one size fits most."

In addition to Silipads, Silikids also offers a line of unique drinking glasses among other things. The 6oz. Silikids glasses are available in sets of four and are the perfect way to transition from a sippy cup to a "big kid cup." They are wrapped in several choices of brightly colored silicone which makes the perfect grip for new big kid cup users! You can also choose from a variety of other Silikids products including super cute silicone bibs, bottles, and Siliskins you can add to the cups you have at home! Check out all of the products from Silikids, and be assured that you are purchasing items which are safe for your family!
